SEPARATION METHOD OF CAISSON AND DOCK FOR CAISSON CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE: To provide separation technique of a caisson from a dock capable of being floated by separating the caisson from the dock surely and safely in the case is floated after the construction of the caisson. ;CONSTITUTION: In the case a caisson 12 is constructed on a working deck 3 of a deck 1, water mediums 10 having good water permeability and having small deformation against compressive load are spread over a range wider than area of the bottom slab 13 of the caisson to be constructed. An impermeable sheet 11 is spread thereon, the caisson 12 is constructed up to the height capable of being floated by itself thereon, and after that, water is supplied to the water mediums 10 to provide lifting pressure P for the bottom slab 13 of the caisson 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
