HANDRAIL PANEL FITTING STRUCTURE AND HANDRAIL DECORATIVE MATERIAL USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To obtain a handrail strong with fine external appearance by fixing the end part of a handrail panel to a building structural member through the through hole of a wall body, and after closing a clearance to the wall body with sealant in the watertight state, covering that part with handrail decorative material. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of fitting a handrail panel 4, formed of a frame 41 and a plate body 42, to the exterior wall of a building, the external wall is provided with a through hole 17, and the frame 41 is fixed to a building structure body through the through hole 17. Sealant 6 is then filled in a clearance between the through hole 17 and the frame 41 to close in the watertight state, and the sealant filled part is covered with handrail decorative material 7. The handrail panel 4 is fixed in such a way as to be safe from the viewpoint of strength even without providing the handrail panel 4 with a supporting member, and the sealed part is invisible from the outside.
