PURPOSE: To provide an acting secretary system capable of preventing message omission by connecting a computer to the data base of information and automatically originating untransmitted messages before the tenant end their work. ;CONSTITUTION: When an acting request, acting cancellation and a request for message transmission are present from the tenant 12 for which tenant information such as the company name, line number, extension number and business hour of the tenant is already registered, storage in an acting request/message transmission condition data base is performed. A private branch exchange 11 informs the computer 18 one hour before the tenant work ending stored in a tenant information data base. The computer 18 retrieves the acting request/ message transmission condition data base inside an external-storage device 110 and checks whether or not the tenant 12 requests acting on the day and the message is transmitted. When the message is not transmitted yet, the extension number of the tenant 12 is taken out from the tenant information data base, a call is automatically originated from the computer 18 through the exchange 11 to the tenant line 14 and when the line 14 is connected, the message is transmitted to the tenant 12.
