An additional sheet is arranged under the cover sheet overlapping one transverse edge of the pad, and is connected by gluing to the cover sheet which presents, over the additional sheet, a transverse cutting. An elastic element is passed along the edge of the cutting in order to form a waist sealing pocket open at the cutting.
