There is described an optoelectronic device for acquisition of a surface in three-dimensional space, on which surface sequences of light pulses create at least one luminous reference which can move on the surface itself: the displacements of the luminous reference on the surface are detected and "processed" by means of detection and processing which are familiar in themselves, as an orderly succession of positions occupied in consecutive moments by at least one marker integrated with the surface being acquired.
