The apparatus features a processing tank (1; 21) in which plastic bottles and pieces of labels and film previously removed from said bottles are fed in a longitudinal line; the apparatus also features an airflow generator (3, 4; 23, 24) connected to said tank (1; 21) that directs a transversal airflow over the bottles and deviates said pieces of labels and film from the bottles, and a collection hood (5; 25) for said airflow. A perforated conveyor belt (7; 27) is provided inside the tank (1; 21), a part (9; 29) of the belt is crossed by the airflow after it has blown over the bottles and the pieces of labels and film, in this way the belt receives and temporarily holds the pieces of labels and film deviated by the airflow. It is, furthermore, preferred to have at the end of said part (9; 29) of the perforated conveyor belt (7; 27), a collection section (11-13; 29) for the pieces of label and film, so that the pieces of labels and film are collected here once the airflow stops from blowing over them and they peel off said conveyor belt (7; 27).
