ELECTROTRANSPORT DELIVERY OF FENTANYL, SUFENTANIL AND ANALOGUES AND SALTS THEREOF

A membrane capable of controlling the rate at which anagent is released from an iontophoretic delivery device isprovided. The membrane inhibits agent release from the deliverydevice when no electrical current is flowing and yet providesminimal impedance to electrically-assisted agent delivery. Themembrane is useful both as a control membrane in an iontophoreticagent delivery device and as a test membrane for testing theperformance characteristics of an iontophoretic agent deliverydevice in vitro.
