the invention relates to oligonucleotide comprising a nucleotide sequence complementary to at least a portion of the mrna transcript of the human c-myb gene. these oligonucleotides can hybridize with the transcribed noncoding mrna levels of c-myb. the oligonucleotides are useful in treatment of hematologic neoplasms and to induce immunosuppression.they are particularly useful as officers serving in the bone marrow.
