Manual compass-clinometer (fig.1 and 3) for the excentric measuring of bearings or azimuths, providing for the levelling of the instrument in the planes N.S. and E.W.(fig 13) and the collimation of the object (fig. 1) through vertical angles between 0 and ± 90°, providing the measurement of topographic and parietal slopes, with reading images in the optical infinite through proximal lenses; the manual compas-clinometer is comprised of two cylindrical boxes which are arranged back-to-back at their base, the upper box containing a stabilizing liquid and the magnetic disc (fig. 5/9) joined at its periphery to a cylindrical sheet (fig. 12/18) with the angular graduation on both, but with the zero-origin of the cylinder out of phase in a quadrant of the magnetic North. The reading loupe (4) and the collimator (5) are contiguous, with their optical axes parallel to the plane N.S. It has a preripheral transposition device (fig. 11) in order to cancel the magnetic variation angle. The lower box contains the clinometric disco-level (fig. 5/10) and a double reading lens on a beam dividing cube (fig. 3/6).
