SENSOR FOR YARN BREAKAGE IN SPINNING FRAME AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING SENSED DATA

PURPOSE:To accurately discriminate the number of broken yarns by collecting broken fiber of yarn flying in a duct of a spinning frame with a cotton collecting rod and then sensing the attainment of the accumulated cotton to a prescribed amount with a sensor. CONSTITUTION:Broken fiber (f1) of yarn flying in a duct 1 of a spinning frame is collected with a cotton collecting rod 3, installed and tilted from the flow direction (A) and the attainment of the accumulated cotton to a prescribed amount or more is sensed with a sensor 4. When the sensor is a reflecting type photoelectric sensor, electromotive force of the photoelectric sensor is in proportion to the number of broken yarns.
