Flange back adjustment in a video camera using an inner focus lens assembly is done by detecting the vertex position of the actual zoom tracking curve and detecting the position of the disadvantage of the varistor based on the vertex. The position of the end point is estimated by calculation from the position of the varistor lens before reaching the end. In other words, the position of the variator lens where the focus is matched as a result of the movement of the focus lens from the vertex, and the distance from the position of the variator lens when the focus is matched to the end point and the variator lens when the focus is matched. By using the ratio between the distances from the above position to another end point, the position of the end point is obtained.
