A conveying and turning apparatus for large parts is characterised in that it consists of a conveying device (1.1) and of a turning device (1.2). Both are in each case provided with tracks for platforms (2 and 5) which are equipped with a multiplicity of extendable mountings (3), the conveying device (1.1) being fastened to a bridge (6), whilst the platform (5) of the turning device (1.2) is mounted on a self-rotating structure vertically adjustable according to choice. The extendable mountings (3) consist of pneumatic cylinders which, for their operation, are mounted in a row on a common profile, in which the tracks for pressure or suction fluid, preferably gas or air, are provided. The conveying platform (2) is fastened in such a way that it can change from a rigid position into a movable position for the purpose of its centering. IMAGE
