The present invention relates to nucleotide sequences characteristic of the genome of Erwinia carotovora bacteria, subsp. atroseptica (Eca), responsible for pathologies such as the black leg of the potato. The invention also relates to the use of these nucleotide sequences for the implementation of methods of identification and detection of Eca, and diagnosis of pathologies caused by these bacteria.
