BOARD FOR 'KAMABOKO'

PURPOSE: To provide a board for KAMABOKO (boiled fish paste pasted on a board) made of a synthetic resin, holding a water-absorbing material in an inside cavity, having a water-passing hole on the bottom or the side wall, effec tive for sufficiently absorbing water exuded from KAMABOKO placed on the board and capable of preventing the generation of void on the face contacting with the board. ;CONSTITUTION: This KAMABOKO board 10 made of a synthetic resin has an absorbing material 25 held in an inner cavity 11 and a water-passing hole 23 opened on the bottom or the side wall. A KAMABOKO 28 is placed on the top of the board. Water exuded from the KAMABOKO is passed through the hole of the bottom or the side wall and absorbed in the water-absorbing material. The KAMABOKO board is effective for preventing the deterioration of the KAMABOKO quality and the generation of general viable microbe, uniformizing the thermal conductivity to prevent the generation of void on the face contacting with the board and eliminating the deviation of the weight of the edible part of the KAMABOKO by the uniformized water-absorption.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
