PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood board for Kamaboko (a wood board over which Kamaboko, semicylindrical boiled fish paste, is formed), preventing formation of air bubbles in the Kamaboko, and further preventing cut ends thereof from being cracked even when the board is stocked for a long period.;SOLUTION: This wood board for the Kamaboko is given by treating the cut ends with an acrylic resin. The acrylic resin is made to penetrate into vessels of the wood board by treating, e.g. coating, spraying or spreading, both the cut ends with the acrylic resin, and then curing the resin by drying the board with warm air, etc., so that the cured resin plugs the vessels and therefore prevents air or liquid from permeating the wood through the vessels.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
