METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR PRESSING ALUMINUM OR ALUMINUM ALLOY SHEET AND THERMOSTATIC DEVICE USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To obtain a product of high precision and to improve the productivity by executing a trimming at the room temp. after press forming at low temp., cooling again to low temp. and applying restriking. ;CONSTITUTION: In this pressing, (a) a blank M1 is cooled with cooling medium and (b) formed by a forming die 3 under condition of keeping in the low temp. range. (c) Successively, the blank M2 after forming is dipped into oil in a thermostatic device 5 and returned back to the room temp. (d) Trimming is executed by using a trimming die 7. (e) Further, if necessary, the necessary part of the blank M2 is cooled again to the low temp. range and the restriking is applied. Then, in the thermostatic vessel 5 for returning back the blank M2 after forming to the room temp., a heater 19 for heating the oil 17 in an oil vessel 15, a thermo-sensor 21 for controlling the oil temp. and an infrared ray sensor 21 for observing the temp. of the blank M2 shifted to the following process, are preferably provided. Further, instead of dipping into the oil vessel, a system for injecting the fluid at the fixed temp. with a fluid injecting device can be applied.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
