PURPOSE: To efficiently produce fine powder tea at a low cost. ;CONSTITUTION: Raw material tea leaf is preliminarily powdered so as to keep particle diameter to ≤1mm particle diameter and the preliminarily powered tea is subjected to wet pulverization by high pressure homogenizer in a state suspended to liquid. Thereby, the tea is pulverized into suspended ultrafine powder tea having ≤10μm average particle diameter. Cellulose powder pulverized by high pressure homogenizer may be blended with the suspended ultrafine powder tea. The suspended ultrafine tea is included as tea component to provide the objective tea drink, food or drink containing the ultrafine powder tea.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
