PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an endoscope during incision by constituting a lock in such a way that the lock can be moved from an open position separated from an axial inner cavity and disengaged with the endoscope when the endoscope being introduced in the axial inner cavity to a closed position for narrowing the axial inner cavity and preventing substantial movement of the endoscope by engagement with the endoscope. ;SOLUTION: Substantial movement of an endoscope 23 is constrained by a lock assembly when the endoscope is accommodated within a hollow axis 12 and extends while being in contact with a piercing tip 14 of an axial distal end 13. On the lock assembly, there is arranged a finger latch 33 that can be easily engaged by an user. By the latch, the assembly 32 is activated from an open position to a closed position or inversely. When the lock assembly is at the closed position and the endoscope 23 is inserted into a passage 30 of the tool and the hollow axis 12, a cam end plane 35 of an arc shape makes a side of the axial inner cavity narrower and constrains almost all movement of the endoscope in the rotational or axial direction. Therefore, when the lock assembly is at the closed position, the cam end plane 35 of an arc shape engages frictionally with an outer arc shape plane of the endoscope and prevents substantial movement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
