PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form repeatedly usable pressure disks of a crimping unit comprising a pair of pressure rolls and a stuffer box by attaching an abrasion member obtained through the blanking of the thin plate of an abrasion material to a support-plate and to make polishing work unnecessary. SOLUTION: In a stuffer box crimping unit for crimping synthetic yarn clusters, bundles or ribbons, a stuffer box 3 placed in the rear part of a top and bottom pair of pressure rolls 1, 2 has the two plates 4, 5 which parallelly stand in a roll shaft in a row and a pair of sidewalls 7 extending as far as a gap 8 between the pressure rolls and limiting the stuffer box. Pressure disks 10 are located in the sidewall 7 at the vertical position of the gap 8 between the pair of pressure rolls 1, 2, are made of a sintered material and comprises a support-plate 11 cooled with a fluid and an abrasion member 12 fixed on the plate 11. The abrasion member 12 is made by the blanking of an abrasion plate made of an abrasion material and is formed as a cover for the plate 11. The member 12 has at least the same diameter as the plate 11 and is equipped with a flange edge 13 coupled with the plate 11 in a relatively non- rotative state.
