STRUCTURE FOR SAMPLING AND MEASURING RAW GREEN TEA LEAF IN GREEN TEA MANUFACTURING LINE

PURPOSE: To provide a structure for sampling and measuring the moisture content suitable for automatically and continuously determining the moisture content of raw green tea leaves. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for sampling and measuring raw green tea leaves is obtained by installing, e.g. a device S for sampling the raw green tea leaves and measuring properties of the raw green tea leaves containing the moisture content of the raw green tea leaves A so as to take out a part of the raw green tea leaves A from a chute 3a of a vertical bucket conveyor 3 for the raw green tea leaves in installing the device S. The driving speed of a belt conveyor in a sampling and raw green tea leaf flow meter 20 for feeding the raw green tea leaves A to a moisture measuring device 30 is controlled based on the weight or transfer height of the raw green tea leaves A transferred through the moisture measuring device 30. Thereby, the transferred raw green tea leaves can simply be taken out by a relatively inexpensive structure and the moisture content can accurately be measured without requiring an installation space and further a change in line of the existing green tea manufacturing line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
