PURPOSE: To provide a measure for producing dried laver sheets of good quality by suitably controlling the humidity in the front and rear spaces of the drying chamber. ;CONSTITUTION: The front space A and the rear space B of the drying chamber 1 are equipped with humidity sensors 23 and 24, respectively. Further, dampers 21a and 21b are set to the upper parts of the front and the rear spaces A and B, respectively. For example, in the case that the humidity in the rear space B is higher than that in the front space A, the damper 21b in the rear space is opened, while the damper 21a in the front is closed. Then, the humidity is lowered in the rear space B and the air in the front space A inductively flows to the rear space B and the humidity also reduces in the front space A. At this time, the fan 25 is driven to flow the air from the rear space B to the front space A so that the humidity in the front space A may not be excessively lowered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
