PURPOSE: To execute a highly accurate and stable comparison/calibration/testing in a short time, by constituting a soaking block of silver or silver alloy and transmitting the temperature of a comparing/calibrating furnace correctly to a thermometer. ;CONSTITUTION: When a soaking block 2 of an apparatus 7 for comparing/ calibrating a temperature-measuring resistance body is formed of any of silver, silver alloy, gold and gold alloy, the thermal capacity is large and the heat is conducted well, so that the temperature of the soaking block 2 is stabilized. Moreover, the temperature of a comparing/calibrating furnace 1 can be correctly transmitted to a thermometer. Therefore, a highly accurate comparison/ calibration/testing is possible. At the same time, the soaking block 2 responds well to the calibrating furnace 1, a set temperature can be achieved quickly and the comparison/calibration/testing can be carried out at many set temperatures in a short cycle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
