ORGANIC WASTE TREATMENT TANK AND SIMPLIFIED TOILET USING THIS TANK

PURPOSE: To constitute a simplified toilet with high treatment capacity by performing a series of treatment such as bringing solid waste, crushed in a crushing tank, into average contact with numerous humus pellets in a wide range by water flow circulated in an aeration tank. ;CONSTITUTION: A treatment device 1 is continuously formed until reaching a storage tank S through a crushing tank C into which waste is thrown, an aeration tank A containing humus pellet containers HP, precipitators P₁, P₂, permeating tanks T₁-T₄ containing activated charcoal, and intermediate tanks G₁, G₂. The waste dropped into the upper opening part of the crushing tank C is crushed, brought into continuous and average contact with humus pellets in each container HP by the water flow circulated in the aeration tank A and microbiologically decomposed by the air-jet of each diffused balloon 6 from an air pipe 7. Primarily treated liquid of solid-liquid mixed phase enters the first precipitator P₁ from the lower opening part of a partition wall B₁, and suspended impurities are impeded by the catching member 8 of a third partition wall B₃. Only the filtered liquid phase thereby flows into the following second precipitator P₂ and is purified being successively adsorbed by the activated charcoal in the respective permeating tanks T₁-T₄.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
