PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the same cooling capability as that of a cooling head by the conventional technique and sharply reduce heat flow noises in a cooling head for a differential scanning calorimeter cell. ;SOLUTION: A mechanical cooling device for a thermal analysis apparatus such as a differential scanning calorimeter is arranged with a gassy heat transfer path between a heat exchanger or an evaporator 14 cooling a differential scanning calorimeter cell 11 and the differential scanning calorimeter cell 11.
