PURPOSE: To develop a stainless steel welding material excellent in selective corrosion resistance and cold workability in a high temp.-high concn. sulfuric acid soln. by regulating the components in a high Si-contg. Ni-Cr stainless steel to specified ranges. ;CONSTITUTION: The components are regulated in such a manner that, by weight, 0.08% C, 4.5 to 7.0% Si, 2.0% Mn, 8 to 30% Ni, 10 to 20% Cr, and the balance Fe are constituted, and the expression I is satisfied. Or, the components are regulated in such a manner that, furthermore, one or ≥two kinds among 0.5 to 3.0% Cu, 0.2 to 2.0% Mo and 0.005 to 1.0% Pd are contained, and the value of δc denoting a δ ferrite forming tendency expressed by the formula II satisfies the range of -7≤δc17. The stainless steel welding material in which the weld zone has excellent selective corrosion resistance and cold workability even in high temp.-high concn. sulfuric acid in which the concn. is regulated to ≥95% and the temp. to ≥65°C can be obtd.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
