PURPOSE: To prevent undeveloped film cartridge from being inadvertently exposed when a film cartridge for housing photographing film in which developed film is housed is used for a film appreciating device. ;CONSTITUTION: A cartridge chamber 141 covering the film cartridge 106 loaded and a spool chamber 142 covering a film winding take-up spool 112 are formed at a slide projector 100, and a light shielding shutter covering a screen frame part is provided, and film 120 is held in hermetically sealed space in a light- shielded state. The exposing state display of the film cartridge 106 is detected, and the light-shielding shutter 143 is opened only in the case of the developed film so that the image of the film 120 is projected by a light source lamp 114.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
