HIGHLY ACCURATE CORE FOR ELECTROMAGNET

摘要

PURPOSE: To center the opposing poles accurately. ;CONSTITUTION: A pole 1 is provided with a protrusion (male die) 1a extending in parallel with the center line 7 thereof whereas a return yoke 2 is provided with a groove (female die) 28 to be fitted with the male die 1a extending obliquely at a predetermined angle against the center line of the pole. Wedge structures 10, 10 are disposed between the male die 1a and the female die 2a. The pole 1 fitted to the yoke 2 can be shifted when the wedge structures 10, 10 are shifted with an external force. One pole 1 is fitted to the yoke 2 and fixed at a mechanically determined position and a pole opposing to the pole 1 is similarly fixed to the yoke 2 and then coils are fixed to both poles. Magnetic field is measured at that moment in time and if a predetermined measurements are obtained, it means that the centers of both poles are aligned. The pole 1 is then secured to the yoke 2 by means of through bolts 8 thus realizing poles opposing accurately in viewpoint of field performance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
