ALUMINUM HEAT EXCHANGER CORE AND ITS BRAZING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a heat exchanger core subjected to defectless brazing without local melting of fins after brazing even if a mixture composed of a noncorrosive flux and metallic powder, such as silicon powder, applied on the surface of the heat exchanger core is nonuniform at the time of brazing the heat exchanger core by applying this mixture thereon and its preferable brazing method. ;CONSTITUTION: This heat exchanger core consists of the fins and tubes brazed by using the noncorrosive flux and the metallic powder. The fins are an aluminum alloy contg. 0.2 to 1% Mg and the tubes are an aluminum alloy regulated in Mg to 0.2%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
