PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling the glass temps. in a forehearth constituted to execute change to a kind different in gob temp. in a short time while maintaining the gob temp. of the kind currently under production in the forehearth of the process for production of glass in stable state. ;CONSTITUTION: The glass temps. are measured for each of respective zones at the time of setting rising when the production kind is going to be changed. The measured glass temps. are subjected to fuzzy inference by two variables; a change in the set temp. thereof and a deviation from the set temp. by which the change rate of the glass setting temps. in the respective zones are controlled. The gas flow rates of respective burners are then controlled by regulating the set values for the opening degrees of valves of cooling zones and the set values of the respective glass temps.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
