PURPOSE: To obtain a fire hose drawing speed optimum for fire extinguishing work by applying suitable brake in the case of drawing a fire hose by hanging the fire hose, which is wound and housed inside a housing body, while utilizing an elastic stick body arranged inside a hydrant box and the projections of the housing body. ;CONSTITUTION: A fire hose 3 is wound along the inner wall surface of a housing body 4 and housed, and a flange part 4a of the housing body 4 is brought into contact with a top plate 1c and rotated, locked to a supporter 6 and mounted on the top plate 1c. After the connector of the fire hose 3 is connected to a hydrant, the fire hose 3 is drawn out from a drawing port 4a and housed between a door 1b the housing body 4. Besides, since a discharge nozzle 7 is dropped down when the door 1b is opened at the time of fire, a user rapidly goes to the site on fire while drawing the fire hose 3. In this case, since the fire hose 3 is hung on an elastic stick body 10 by a drop preventing mechanism 5 and the top end 10a of the elastic stick body 10 comes into contact with a projection 4c of the housing body 4, the fire hose 3 is prevented from being paid off while being unfastened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
