PRODUCT BONDED BY RESIN-BASED COATING AND BONDING METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To secure product assembly accuracy by mutual contact of plural parts via a resin-based adhesive coating followed by baking the coating to effect bonding to reduce production cost and improve the appearance of the final product and the workplace environment for the production. ;CONSTITUTION: Firstly, at least one part of two or more parts to be bonded to one another is coated with a resin-based adhesive coating. The coated part and another party of parts are then contactedly assembled and baked to effect bonding of the contacted area(s) between the parts owing to the adhesive force of the coating. The coating is e.g. an alkyd resin as a kind of polyester resin, phenolic resin, thermosetting acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
