STRUCTURE TAKING MEASURES AGAINST COLLISION AT SIDE OF REAR FLOOR PART OF AUTOMOBILE

摘要

PURPOSE: To greatly reduce the initial collision speed by surely receiving the load when a rear door is pushed by a colliding vehicle and deformed inside in the collision at side of an automobile. ;CONSTITUTION: An upper closed section part 6 in the vehicle lateral direction is integratedly stacked by an upper cross member 5 on the upper side of a closed section part 3 to be formed on the rear surface part of a rise surface part 2 from a front floor 10 to a rear floor 1, and a reinforcement 8 is fixed in the door thickness of a rear door 7 so that an inside end surface 8a may be opposite to a side end surface 6a of the upper closed section part 6. A stopper member 6b is fixed to the side end surface of the upper closed section part 6, and when the rear door 7 enters inside by the collision at side, the stopper member 6b is fitted into a recessed part 8b provided on the inside end surface 8a of the reinforcement 8 to suppress the upwardly deviation of the rear door 7, and the inside end surface 8a is surely abutted on the side end surface 6a to allow the collision load to be surely received by the axial force of the upper closed section part 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
