OVEN-FASTENING DEVICE OF COKE OVEN CARBONIZATION CHAMBER

PURPOSE: To obtain an oven-fastening device of a coke oven carbonization chamber which prevents the thermal influence on a tension rod and is free from troubles such as creep fracture by covering the side of the tension rod with a thermally insulating refractory to thereby connect a part of a heat- radiating member to the rod and exposing the other part of the member to the upper surface of an oven top brick. ;CONSTITUTION: This device has a tension rod 9 embedded in an oven top brick 2 over the length wise direction of a carbonization chamber, and chamber lids and backstays for supporting the lids are fastened to both ends of the rod 9. The side of the rod 9 is covered with a thermally insulating refractory 15 to connect a part of a heat-radiating member 16 to the rod 9 and the other part of the member 16 is exposed to the upper surface 201 of the brick 2. Thus, the device is compact since the rod is embedded, prevents the rod from being thermally influenced by a by-product gas rising through a riser 5 installed in the chamber, and is free from troubles such as creep fracture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
