PURPOSE: To provide a driving device for reciprocating a shower pipe for washing in a paper mill with smooth operation, a long life and a slight deviation in nozzle jetting angle. ;CONSTITUTION: This reciprocation driving device is provided by supporting an outer periphery of an outer cylinder 1 containing a means for converting the rotation of a motor 6 into reciprocation with a bearing 3 therein, fixing a ring 2 to the outer cylinder 1, interposing an annular and platy spring plate 4 between the ring 2 and the bearing 3, connecting the ring 2 to the bearing 3 at a position separating the spring plate 4 in the peripheral direction of the outer cylinder 1, making the spring plate 4 function as an antibody and treating the rotation produced by the twisting of a shower pipe 9 connected to a driving shaft reciprocated by the motor 6 so as to prevent a deviation from occurring in nozzle jetting angle and an overload from being applied to a connecting rod 8 to the shower pipe 9.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
