PURPOSE: To obtain PVA film which can be kept flexible for a long time or under low-temperature and low-humidity conditions, does not show stickness due to exudation of the additives even under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions and can be easily peeled from the molding metal surface in molding without detriment to its transparency and gloss. ;CONSTITUTION: A PVA resin is mixed with an amic acid of the formula [wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen or an organic group, provided that at least one of them is at least either (CH2CH2O)mH or (CHCH3CH2O)nH (wherein (m) and (n) are each the degree of polymerization and is integer of 1-10); and R3 is a carboxyaliphatic, carboxyaromatic or carboxyheterocyclic hydrocarbon group represented by the formula: RCOOH and has 2-12C atoms].
