SILKWORM EXTRACT AND SILKWORM CREAM CONTAINING THE SAME EXTRACT AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE:To obtain an extract separated from refined raw silk produced from a silkworm cocoon, especially a silkworm extract capable of manifesting sedative effects by application thereof to an abnormal part of the skin of a human body (a lesion such as an atopic site, a crack in the skin, athlete's foot or a bruise). CONSTITUTION:This silkworm extract is obtained by thermally boiling a mixture comprising a smoked carbide of refined raw silk produced from a silkworm cocoon, an aqueous solution of a nucleic acid, charcoal and alkaline ionic water, decocting, boiling and concentrating the resultant mixture and filtering the resultant boiled solution. This silkworm cream is prepared by mixing the obtained silkworm extract with starch, talc and a perfume and further adding an ointment base selected from vaseline and a coconut oil thereto.
