an optical signal incident from a potential enemy that is captured by an array of apertures (1, 16) connected to a plurality of broadband filters (21-24).the broadband filters (21-24) of the enveloping parts pass band so as to cover the range of wavelengths of potential threats, but not with the spectral resolution of a large number of narrow band filters.in order to increase the resolution without adding additional filters, each filter is connected with a broadband optical delay line (31), which converts the wavelength into a time delay. additional optical lines (91 - 94) without delay is directly connected with the apertures (1, 16) in order to allow the time delay to be measured.the difference in time between the reception of the signal transmitted by the optical delay lines (31-34) from the filter, and the reception of the signal from the row of apertures (1, 16) provided directly by the optical lines (91 - 94) is then converted into a longueu rs of waves with a high degree of resolution.
