DEVICE WITH A PLASTIC SUBSTRATE TO ACCEPT AND HOLD AN ELECTRONIC MODULE

The electronic module has a strip (16,17) on two opposing sides for locating and holding the module in corresp. grooves of two U-shaped rails of a module carrier and a plastics frame (1) receiving a printed circuit board (2). The latter has a conductive cladding (7,8) on one or both sides extending up to the opposing strips. Pref. the plastics frame has peripheral notches (10) receiving corresp. tongues (11,18) of the cladding used to provide an electrical contact between each cladding and the circuit board.
