Core functionalised star block copolymers

A core functionalised star block copolymer formed of i) at least one block of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon, and/or ii) at least one block of a conjugated diene and iii) a polyalkenyl aromatic coupling agent wherein the core functionalisation is provided by reaction of the star polymer core with an asymmetric bi- or polyfunctional capping agent.
