Multispindle machining unit, particularly for numeric-control machining centers, including: a supporting structure (2) that has a first longitudinal axis (a) and, at one end, a support (6) for a spindlehead (7) that is mounted so that it can rotate about a second rotation axis (w) that intersects the first axis (a); multiple tool spindles (8) that are mounted on the head (7); a transmission means for connecting the spindles (8) to a motor means (15) that is rigidly coupled to the supporting structure (2); and a means for rotating the head (7) to move each spindle (8) into an indexed operating position. The transmission means can be selectively coupled either to the rotation means of the head (7), to select the spindle to be involved in the machining operation, or to the spindle (8) involved in the machining operation, to transmit thereto the machining motion. This configuration considerably simplifies the machining unit with respect to similar known units.
