METHOD OF DETERMINATION OF CONTENT OF SUSCEPTIBLE FRACTION OF IMPURITY IN MEDIUM

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic separation of materials and can find use in chemistry, heat power industry, metallurgy and other branches of industry. It is intended for measurement of content of particles exhibiting magnetic properties in ammonia, steam, condensate, circulating water and so on to establish advisability of use of magnetic filters-precipitators for removal of impurities from these media and for selection of optimal operational modes for filters. Analyzed medium is let pass through two or three columns with granulated packing in parallel, then flows are mixed. Measurement of impurity concentration is conducted in starting medium at outlet from columns with bigger impurity concentration and in mixed medium. Calculation of content of susceptible fraction is carried out by formulas given in description of invention. EFFECT: enhanced productivity of method thanks to exception of cyclic filtering. 1 dwg
