A device for reproducing an image into two different shapes

The electron beam tube (1) generates an image output that is focussed (2) onto the surface of a photosensitive material (3) that is in strip form. The film is incremented after each exposure. The images can have two different size rectangular formats. In one format the small size is parallel to the edge of the material and in the other is transverse to it (3d). The rotation of the image through 90 degrees to provide this is provided by a switching unit (4), with a changeover between lenses (2, 2a) provided by a controller (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - In so called "customer laboratory". Allows different reproduction orientations.
