The display stand has a wooden slat frame (20)with a partition panel is secured a partition panel, and several partition sections (1) are interconnected in a laterally adjacent manner. The frame of each section consists of a frame (21-24) with wooden coupling dowels with a front and rear panel of white painted, medium dense fibre material. The panels are glued to the frames. The vertical frame slats (21,22) are secured in the edge section of the panels. On both lateral sides the sheets are fitted with complementary toothing and clamping profiles (31,41) so that adjacent sections can be coupled sealingly and releasably without any implement.
