A burner with a gaseous fuel comprises means for injecting primary (4) of the fuel into a combustion chamber (3) along the axis (12) of a feed channel (2) of the combustion air, and the secondary means (7) for injecting fuel peripherally distributed about said primary means (4) and opening out into the ducts (9) of (11) of the combustion fumes produced in the combustion chamber (3). According to the present invention, said secondary means (7) of injection and the ducts (9) of recirculation, associated, are located on the inside of the said air supply duct (2), the ends of the discharge (18) of said ducts (9), the recirculation of gases with the gaseous fuel injected by the secondary means (7), emerging on the axes (16) parallel to the axis (12) of said feed channel (2), and their other ends (14) are open into the combustion chamber (3) through the wall and open at the outer periphery of the feed channel (2), which comprises, towards its outlet orifice (13) in the combustion chamber (3) a stabilizer (6) of the flame (6) surrounding the injection means units (4).
