The position adjuster adjusts and indicates the position of the reflector of the vehicle headlamp. It includes a threaded adjusting shaft (30) passing through a threaded aperture (14,20) in the lamp casing. A drive unit (60) is provided to rotate the shaft.An extension of the shaft (36) carries a reference marker (38) which moves within a transparent section (50) of the sleeve. The position of this reference marker indicates the orientation for the headlamp, with reference to a number of graduations providing calibration for the headlamp setting.
