PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a grinding wheel that is good enough in the fluid- izability of abrasive grains, excellent in press formability and less in variations of grinding performance. ;SOLUTION: This vitrified bond cBN grinding wheel is manufactured with a mass of its coated abrasive grains whose average grain size is 40 to 300μm, and each individual abrasive grain is made up of being wholly coated with a fused glass heated and solidified, and further average thickness (B) of the coated layer consists of 1.06≤(A+2B)/A≤1.45 in relation to original abrasive grain average grain size (A) as the principal ingredient.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
