PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of stopping a printer for a long period and to further maintain the printing characteristics excellent by always supplying moistening water stock liquid and water at a predetermined ratio corresponding to the water reduced amount, and always circulating the water. ;SOLUTION: Moistening water stock liquid is stocked in a moistening water stock liquid vessel 23, and poured to a sub-tank 13 via a constant volume pump 21. The quantity of the water poured in the tank 13 is measured by a flowmeter 25, its signal is input to a mixing rate regulator 27, and moistening water stock liquid is quantitatively supplied at a predetermined ratio to the water into the tank 13 by the pump 21 in response to the measured result of the flow rate. The moistening water supply amount is set to a predetermined range by water level regulating means 37. The water in the sub-tank body 35 is transferred to a circulating cooking tank body via a pump 41 and a three-way valve 43. The supply of the water for offset printing is set to the same or more as the moistening water carrying-out amount of sheet by printing, and if it is more than the carrying-out amount of the sheet, it is recovered to the circulating cooling tank or discarded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
