PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to diagnose chlamydia and trachomatous infection disease with high reliability by measuring antibody for chlamidia and trachomatous specific antigen in saliva. ;SOLUTION: As a result that chlamydia and trachomatous antigen specific saliva IgA, saliva IgG, sarum IgA and sarum IgG are measured, high correlation is exhibited for both the positive and negative concordant ratios of the saliva IgA to the sarum IgA. On the other hand, the saliva IgG exhibits considerably low absorbance as compared with that of the saliva IgA, but the correlation to the sarum IgG is very high. From these results, chlamydia and trachomatous infection disease can be diagnosed with simple and high reliability by measuring the anti-chlamydia and trachomatous antibody in the saliva.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
