LASER BEAM FOCUSING LENS, DENTISTRY AND ORAL SURGERY TREATMENT DEVICE USING THE SAME, AND PREVENTING DEVICE OF LASER BEAM IRREGULAR REFLECTION DUE TO STUCK WATERDROP
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a laser beam from reflecting irregularly, even if having waterdrop stuck by moisture condensation by providing a transparent surface layer containing photocatalyst particles on the surface of a focusing lens base material and setting the surface of the layer to hydrophilic according to light excitation of photocatalyst so as to spread the condensed water and/or waterdrop stuck on the surface of a layer. SOLUTION: A layer containing a photocatalyst such as crystalline titanium oxide TiO2 , etc., is formed on the surface of a laser beam focusing lens. Such surface structure makes the surface of the laser beam focusing lens to be highly hydrophilic according to light excitation of the photocatalyst and, if the moisture in atmosphere is condensed and stuck thereon, it is prevented from growing into a waterdrop state so as to become a uniform water film. When the surface layer is composed of only photocatalyst particles, it is preferable that the photocatalyst is oxide. Silica is made to contain on the surface layer containing the photocatalyst particles and a solid extremely strong acid is made to contain on the surface layer containing the photocatalyst particles. Silicone is made to be contained further in the surface layer containing the photocatalyst particles.
