FILM ENJOYING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film enjoying device by which a video image of a film is enjoyed at a desired aspect ratio by providing a display method corresponding to a print aspect ratio read from a magnetic recording section of the film. ;SOLUTION: A light from an illumination light source 11 is given to a diffusion plate 10, in which a white light is obtained and transmits through a part opposed to an image area 12 of a film F and a video image of the film F is formed on a CCD 14 via a lens 13. An output signal from the CCD 14 is an image signal by a video circuit 15 and becomes an image signal S via a video control circuit 16. A CPU 21 controls a video control circuit 16 based on a print aspect ratio read from a magnetic recording section of the film F by a magnetic head 7 to mask the image signal and when the print aspect ratio is not recorded, the video control circuit 16 is controlled based on the setting of a size setting switch of an information input device 27 to mask the image signal and to provide the output of the image signal S. Thus, the video image of the film is enjoyed by a desired aspect ratio.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
